Job summary

Flora Partners, based in Redditch, is recruiting an Accounts Payable Administrator to join a friendly and supportive finance team. The role involves processing supplier invoices, matching against purchase orders, and supporting daily accounts payable activities in a hybrid setup with two office days.

Ideal candidates will have accounts payable or invoice processing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Have previous accounts payable, purchase ledger or invoice processing experience.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be organised and able to manage your own workload.
• Have good communication skills and be confident handling queries.
• Be comfortable using finance systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Enjoy working as part of a team whilst also being able to work independently.
• Have a positive, proactive and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Matching invoices against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
• Handling supplier queries and liaising with internal departments.
• Supporting supplier statement reconciliations.
• Ensuring invoices are correctly coded and authorised.
• Assisting with payment runs and maintaining accurate supplier records.
• Identifying and resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Providing general administrative support to the wider finance team.
