Job summary

bet365 Group is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to enhance system reliability, observability, and performance. You will treat reliability as a software problem, protecting uptime and driving improvements across critical systems.

Responsibilities include building tools, dashboards, and automation, contributing to live incident resolution and post-mortems, and mentoring teammates in new technologies. This role supports a hybrid work-from-home policy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of modern software development lifecycles and practices.
• Strong SRE fundamentals including SLI/SLO design and reliability focus.
• Familiarity with observability tools and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain tools for reliable, observable systems.
• Automate manual tasks and reduce toil with automation/orchestration.
• Write code for telemetry, APIs and tooling to improve reliability.
• Build dashboards using Grafana, Splunk and New Relic for visibility.
• Participate in live incident resolution and post-mortems with remediation.
• Lead reliability initiatives and foster continuous improvement.
• Maintain monitoring/analytic toolchains and mentor teammates.
