Job summary

bet365 in the United Kingdom is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to shape the stability of the systems behind every click, query and live change. You will help protect and improve the availability, performance and resilience of our complex technical estate.

This role blends software engineering, automation and incident response to reduce toil, sharpen observability and strengthen service health across the broader engineering community.

Qualifications

Experience building secure, scalable SRE practices across a large-scale system.
Experience using observability tools to surface issues and drive improvements.
Hands-on experience with incident management and post-incident reviews.
Strong automation skills and IaC experience with Terraform/Ansible.
Ability to work across SRE, development and IT Operations to raise standards.

Responsibilities

Shape the stability of systems behind every click, query and live change.
Protect and improve availability, performance and resilience of the systems.
Use Open Telemetry, logging, telemetry and automation to surface issues faster.
Embed reliability throughout the software development lifecycle and mentor colleagues.
Participate in live incident response, post-mortems and root-cause analysis.
