Job summary

Leonardo in Yeovil is seeking a Contracts Officer to join the Contract Management team on a hybrid basis. You will support multi-million pound contracts, manage contract administration, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution.

You'll draft approvals, support proposals and contract amendments, and monitor key obligations including deliverables and cash. The role requires aerospace/defence experience and strong contract advisory skills, with a proactive

Qualifications

• Background in Aerospace or Defence (or similar environments).
• Experience in contract management, administration, or commercial roles.
• Strong communication skills with ability to provide contract advice.
• Proven knowledge of contract terms, pricing and SAP/MS Office tools.
• Pro-active approach to resolving contract issues and identifying improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare internal approvals, contracts and other agreements.
• Support the provision of customer proposals and contract amendments.
• Execute all commercial aspects of the contract.
• Monitor and report the progress of key contract obligations, including deliverables and cash.
• Resolve contract issues and provide contract advice to internal functions.
• Identify risks and opportunities and contribute to business improvements.
