Job summary

Leonardo in Yeovil is seeking a Contracts Officer to join the Contract Management team. This hybrid role requires some on-site days and supports multi-million pound contracts to ensure they are executed effectively.

You will draft and prepare internal approvals and contracts, support customer proposals and amendments, and manage the commercial aspects of contracts while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Background in Aerospace or Defence is preferred.
• Experience in contract management, administration, or commercial roles.
• Strong communication skills with ability to provide contract advice.
• Knowledge of contract terms, pricing, and SAP/MS Office tools.
• Pro-active approach to resolving contract issues and driving improvements.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare internal approvals, contracts and other agreements.
• Support the provision of customer proposals and contract amendments.
• Execute all commercial aspects of the contract.
• Monitor and report progress of key contract obligations, including deliverables and cash.
• Proactively resolve contract issues and provide contract advice to internal functions.
• Contribute to identifying and resolving contract risks and opportunities and transformation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers for effective collaboration.
