Job summary

WIKA Instruments Ltd in Sevenoaks seeks an Accounts Payable Assistant for a 1-year fixed-term contract. The role is part-time, 4 hours per day, five days a week, with hybrid working where possible.

You will support invoice processing, reconciliations and month-end activities under supervision of the Finance Manager. Ideal candidates have an AAT qualification or are part-qualified, strong communication and organisational skills, and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or part-qualified is preferred.
• Experience in an office environment is desirable but not essential.
• Good communication and a hands-on, proactive attitude are required.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase ledger invoices using automated invoice processing software.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts and monitor the accounts inbox.
• Utilise the in-house invoice approval workflow and archiving software.
• Assist Finance Manager with Month End, Year End and ad hoc activities.
