Job summary

Office Angels is recruiting an Accounts Payable Assistant for a hybrid role in Ashford, Kent. The temporary position runs for 6 months with immediate start, offering 3 days work-from-home and 2 days in the office, in a large finance team. Salary is £14.50 per hour, with potential for extension or permanent opportunities.

You will process invoices, match POs, code costs, handle expense reports, and support bank payments and audits as part of a collaborative finance function.

Qualifications

• Accounts payable/finance experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Available immediately and able to start a new role.

Responsibilities

• Processing accounts payable invoices and verifying receipt of goods/services.
• Matching purchase orders and approvals.
• Ensuring accurate coding to cost centers.
• Processing expense reports.
• Preparing, processing and reconciling bank payments.
• Reconciling Accounts Payable to the General Ledger.
• Providing documentation and support during audits.
• Preparing monthly cost reports.
• Other accounts duties as required.
