Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. seeks an Accounts & Bookkeeping Advisor in Stalbridge, Dorset. The role handles accounts, tax returns, VAT and monthly bookkeeping for a varied client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

The position offers a strong work-from-home element after probation, with 3 office days and 2 remote days, a salary up to 36,000, and enhanced pension and holidays. You’ll liaise with clients to ensure deadlines are met and contribute to process

Qualifications

• Experience preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Experience preparing personal and/or business tax returns.
• Familiarity with VAT work and bookkeeping processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies for review.
• Prepare personal and business tax returns for review.
• Complete monthly bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Process sales and purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Carry out bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare and post journals, including payroll, depreciation, accruals and prepayments.
• Prepare VAT returns for review and submission.
• Liaise with clients and colleagues to obtain accurate information and meet deadlines.
• Assist with onboarding of new clients and contribute to high service delivery.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the practice to support wider team needs.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and client service.
