SSE is seeking an HVDC Project Engineer based in Scotland (Glasgow, Aberdeen or Inverness) to join the HVDC Engineering team within SSEN Transmission. Base Location: For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations: Glasgow, Aberdeen or Inverness.
Salary:£51,600 - £64,500 + car/cash allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

As part of SSEN Transmission's Pathway to 2030 programme of works, we are seeking an HVDC Project Engineer to join our HVDC Engineering team.
Working within SSEN Transmission's Offshore Directorate, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of major HVDC infrastructure projects that are central to the UK's transition to a low-carbon energy system. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to nationally significant projects while collaborating with a diverse range of technical specialists, project teams and industry partners.
We welcome applications from engineers with project engineering experience gained within HVDC, power transmission, electrical plant, energy infrastructure or other complex engineering environments.
