SSEN Transmission is seeking a Development Project Manager based in Scotland to oversee large capital projects, including substations, overhead lines, HVDC, and cabling. You will manage the development phase, engage stakeholders, and navigate planning and regulatory processes to secure consent and progress to delivery.
This permanent, full-time role requires cross-disciplinary leadership, governance, and a proactive safety culture.
For this role, we require successful applicants to be based from one of our Scottish locations and you'll be expected to spend 50% of your working week in the office – Glasgow, Perth, Inverness or Aberdeen.
£51,600 - £77,400 + car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The Development Project Manager will manage the Development phase of large capital projects in the network transmission business involving complex AC substations, Overhead Lines, HVDC Converter stations and cabling both onshore and offshore.
The remit of Development projects includes community consultation and engagement, site and route selection, land access and the planning and consenting processes both in the marine and terrestrial environments.
