Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Glasgow seeks a seasoned project leader to drive HVDC converter station projects. You will coordinate Plant Design, Station Auxiliary Power Systems, and Civil/Structural scopes, while guiding teams, schedules, and budgets through concept, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, energisation and handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related technical discipline.
• Proven project management experience delivering HVDC, HV/MV substation, transmission, distribution, or other large-scale power infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams across Civil, Structural, Electrical, Electromechanical, and Plant Engineering disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary Plants & Civil engineering teams for HVDC converter station projects.
• Develop and implement execution strategies for the Plants & Civil scope across project lifecycle.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks and change control to meet project objectives.
