Job summary

Banyards is seeking a Mechanical Validation Engineer to support our Validation team across London and the Home Counties. You will assist with HVAC commissioning and validation, maintain test equipment, and develop strong technical and health & safety skills on commercial projects.

You will work with experienced engineers, attend site inductions, and engage with clients to ensure timely, on-budget delivery while pursuing CSA accreditation and career progression within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have CSA Grade 1 and CSCS card.
• Proficient IT skills for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Engineers with HVAC commissioning and validation activities.
• Maintain and care for test equipment.
• Undertake HVAC commissioning and validation activities.
• Attend site inductions, toolbox talks, and team meetings.
• Record time and site information accurately.
• Prepare reports and test documentation.
• Interface with clients and report progress.
• Join commissioning site meetings and team discussions.
