Job summary

Facilitate Search Ltd is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer (HVAC) for a mobile role covering the Telford area. The position offers a permanent contract, a basic salary up to £47,000 with overtime, travel time, and excellent benefits.

You will service and repair commercial gas systems across major retail sites, working on boilers, pumps and AHUs while ensuring high customer service across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heating, Mechanical or HVAC.
• Current Commercial Gas ACS qualifications: COCN, CIGA, CORT, ICPN, CDGA, TPCP1/1A.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance or retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing commercial gas systems.
• Maintaining boilers, pumps, fans, AHUs and FCUs.
• Fault finding and reactive breakdown repairs.
• Carrying out planned maintenance and inspections.
• Minor mechanical installations and alterations.
• Identifying non-repairable faults and recommending replacements.
• Ordering replacement parts where required.
• Providing excellent customer service across multiple sites.

The Role

Covering retail sites across the Telford area, you'll carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a range of commercial heating and HVAC equipment.

Typical duties include:

• Servicing and repairing commercial gas systems

What You'll Need

Essential

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heating, Mechanical or HVAC
• Current Commercial Gas ACS qualifications including:
• COCN
• CIGA
• CORT
• ICPN
• CDGA
• TPCP1/1A
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or retail environments

Desirable

• Domestic ACS qualifications
• F-Gas Category 1
• 18th Edition
• Experience using handheld/PDA systems

You’ll also be happy to participate in a 1 in 4 on-call rota.
