Job summary

Airedale by Modine is seeking a proactive Technical Support Engineer to join our Aftermarket team. You will deliver day-to-day technical support to customers and internal colleagues, and help identify and fulfill spare parts requirements for HVAC projects.

You will review field engineer reports, scope remedial work, and assist with commissioning, RAMS, and service quotations. The role requires hands-on HVAC delivery experience and strong communication across multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting engineering delivery within an HVAC environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience liaising with 3rd party suppliers and field engineering resources.
• Experience managing client expectations in engineering/service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone and email support to existing customers.
• Identify when free technical support should be provided and when chargeable attendance is required.
• Review engineer reports daily to identify missed problems and connect with previous attendances.
• Scope out remedial works including labour, materials, tools, equipment and safety risks for quotes.
• Support field engineering teams with information and guidance to resolve issues promptly.
• Produce RAMS for work to support planning and approvals.
• Adhere to departmental processes to ensure compliant service delivery.
