Job summary

Airedale by Modine is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to develop and deliver electrical product designs for HVAC systems from concept through launch. You will collaborate with engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing to meet cost targets while ensuring compliance with UKCA/CE and safety standards.

You will work with AutoCAD Electrical, Solid Edge, and SAP to create wiring diagrams, BOMs, and documentation, and you will engage with suppliers to source components and support changes

Qualifications

• Hold a technical degree and have experience with electrical design.
• Knowledge of UKCA and CE marking process.
• Experience with PLC controllers and 3-phase and low voltage circuits.
• Ability to source components and produce technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Produce wiring diagrams to current electrical standards.
• Design control panel layouts and terminal lists.
• Create accurate parts lists and build information for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Controls team to integrate electrical and control designs.
