Job summary

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join a major commercial office development in Bristol. Own the HVAC package from planning through to completion on a 7-year programme with a salary of £70,000-£80,000.

You'll manage subcontractors, coordinate with trades, review drawings, and ensure delivery to programme while upholding health and safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as HVAC Project Manager or Mechanical Project Manager.
• Strong track record delivering HVAC/mechanical services on commercial projects.
• Experience working on office or commercial projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and installation.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Ability to manage programmes, deadlines and project deliverables.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of a project.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of HVAC works.
• Taking ownership of the HVAC package and ensuring works are delivered to programme.
• Managing and coordinating subcontractors, site teams and specialist contractors.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information.
• Coordinating HVAC installation with other trades and project disciplines.
• Managing labour, materials and plant requirements.
• Monitoring progress against the project programme.
• Managing procurement and ensuring materials are available when required.
• Attending project and coordination meetings.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring installations meet project specifications.
• Overseeing testing, commissioning and handover of HVAC systems.
• Ensuring all works are delivered in line with Health & Safety requirements.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and reporting.
