About The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Engineer to join our team working on key contracts within the Scotland region.

The role involves general maintenance and statutory compliance checks, requiring basic plumbing, electrical, and fabric maintenance skills, ideally with experience in a similar facilities management environment. HVAC experience is advantageous.

The position demands client engagement and a proactive approach to providing solutions that meet client needs. You should maintain a professional appearance and have a good command of spoken and written English.

Early starts and late finishes may be necessary to minimize disruption during works. The role also involves planning materials, providing quotations, and managing client expectations.

Experience with a CAFM system is desirable, as all work is managed via a CAFM-based solution. H&S experience is also desirable, especially for managing sub-contractors.

Main Duties:
  1. Planning, inspecting, and performing repairs or preventative maintenance, responding promptly to breakdowns.
  2. Carrying out reactive and planned services across various environments, including offices, commercial, distribution, and industrial premises.
  3. Applying trade skills or previous experience in a similar role.
  4. Conducting statutory inspections such as Emergency Lighting, Water Temperature checks, Fire Door inspections, plumbing repairs, and lighting checks.
  5. Representing the company professionally, handling complaints and queries effectively.
  6. Supporting engineer sub-contractors during site visits.
  7. Providing technical guidance to clients and support teams.
  8. Performing minor building fabric repairs.
  9. Ensuring all work complies with specifications and Health & Safety legislation.
  10. Maintaining site documentation accurately.
Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Ideally, C&G qualified in a relevant trade.
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  3. HVAC experience is advantageous.
  4. Legionella control qualification is desirable.
  5. Experience in basic plumbing, carpentry, redecoration, and statutory ppm inspections, with good H&S understanding.
  6. Knowledge of planned preventative maintenance regimes.
  7. Experience in risk assessments, method statements, and issuing permits to work.
  8. Experience with BMS systems.
  9. Knowledge of maintenance schedules and SFG 20 is desirable.
  10. Accurate record-keeping skills on worksheets and digital systems.
  11. Valid UK driving license, as use of a company vehicle may be required.
