Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Equipment Sales Engineer to promote and sell HVAC and process cooling solutions on customer sites in Bolton. The role focuses on generating new business, building relationships, and meeting sales targets through proactive prospecting and tailored equipment packages.

You will identify customer needs, conduct site visits, and collaborate with engineering teams to design suitable Hire/Rental equipment and services.

Qualifications

• Qualification or applied experience in engineering or a related field an advantage.
• Proven experience in sales, customer relationship management, preferably in HVAC or refrigeration industry including air handling units.

Responsibilities

• Identify and target potential customers in industries requiring Equipment solutions in the HVAC and Process Cooling.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential business opportunities.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, regularly updating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with accurate and up-to-date information.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns to support sales efforts.
• Provide technical guidance to customers, helping select Hire(Rental)/Equipment/Services solutions based on requirements.
• Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate customer needs, ensuring accurate and efficient Hire(Rental)/Equipment/Services solutions are proposed.
• Comply with RAMS and partner with QHSE.
