Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd is seeking an HVAC Engineer for the South Coast area. The role focuses on installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of HVAC equipment across client sites.

Ideal candidates have NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, a valid UK driving licence, and will be working a 40-hour week with travel and on-call enhancements. Based near Southampton/Portsmouth, with a company van and benefits.

Qualifications

• HVAC service, maintenance and fault-finding experience.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent.
• Valid UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, maintain and repair HVAC equipment across sites.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs to restore operation.
• Travel across the South Coast region; travel paid after 30 minutes each way.

Location: South Coast

HVAC Engineer required on the South Coast for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months’ service – Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed – if called out Travel Paid door to door)
• Pension
• 22 days’ holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

• Apprenticeship served within the air conditioning industry (Not Essential)
• Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
• Full Driving Licence

• Live in the Southampton/Portsmouth area
