Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited currently seek an HVAC Engineer in Yorkshire to service, maintain and repair HVAC systems. The role covers VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms, with a 40-hour week and travel paid after 30 minutes each way.

Salary ranges £40,000–£45,000 DOE, with additional benefits including a company van (optional personal use), profit share after 12 months, overtime at 1.5x, pension and generous holidays rising to 30 days with long service.

Qualifications

• Proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repair of HVAC equipment.
• Apprenticeship in air conditioning industry (Not Essential).
• Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent.
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas) required.
• Full Driving Licence held.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, fault finding and repair of HVAC equipment including VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms.

Job description

HVAC Engineer required in Yorkshire for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.
Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.
HVAC Engineer Position - Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
• Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)

• 22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.
HVAC Engineer - Position Requirements
