Bennett & Game Recruitment Limited is seeking an HVAC Engineer in Bristol to join a leading HVAC company with a multi-site presence. The role covers servicing, fault finding and repair of VRV/VRF, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms, with a focus on quality and reliability.

Offering a basic salary of £40,000–£50,000 DOE, plus a company van (optional personal use), pension, 22–30 days holiday and a 40-hour week with on-call allowances. Live in the Bristol area.

Qualifications

Experience with servicing, fault finding and repair of HVAC systems.
VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms experience preferred.
Apprenticeship in air conditioning industry is optional.
Full UK driving licence.
Live in the Bristol area.

Responsibilities

Install, service, maintain, fault find and repair HVAC equipment.
Work with VRV/VRF, split units, chillers, AHUs and cold rooms.
Travel paid after 30 mins each way; 40-hour week; on-call duties with guaranteed allowance.

Job description

HVAC Engineer required in Bristol for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long-standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

HVAC Engineer Position - Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
Company Van - Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service - Up to £3,600 tax free
Overtime paid at 1.5x
40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
On call allowance (1 in 4/5, £1,200 guaranteed - if called out Travel Paid door to door)
Pension
22 days' holidays plus bank holidays this will increase to 25 days after 5 years and 30 days after 10 years.

The HVAC Engineer must have a proven track record with servicing, fault finding and repairing air conditioning systems, namely VRV/VRF's, Split Units, Chillers, AHUs & Cold Rooms.
