Job summary

Catering is seeking an experienced HVAC Designer in Gloucestershire to develop detailed HVAC designs from concept through construction. You will use Revit and CAD on commercial and industrial projects, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and CIBSE guidelines.

The role requires strong Revit experience, good AutoCAD skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with accuracy.

Qualifications

Proven experience in HVAC/Mechanical Design within building services or construction.
Strong Revit experience, ideally Revit MEP.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD/CAD.
Understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical building services.

Responsibilities

Produce detailed HVAC designs, layouts and technical drawings using Revit and CAD.
Develop HVAC systems for new-build and refurbishment projects.
Undertake and/or support heating and cooling load calculations and system sizing.
Select appropriate HVAC equipment and components.
Coordinate mechanical designs with structural and other M&E services.
Produce design documentation and specifications.
Review designs during construction and resolve technical issues.
Attend project meetings with clients, contractors and teams.
Ensure designs comply with UK Building Regulations, CIBSE standards.
Contribute to internal design standards and processes.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines with accuracy.
