Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Construction Planner for Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning at Hinkley Point C near Bridgwater, Somerset. The role focuses on creating and maintaining detailed schedules for HVAC activities within a major infrastructure project.

Hybrid working patterns are available with four days onsite and one day remote. This is a full-time, permanent role offering security clearance exposure and the opportunity to contribute to critical national infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Five years of planning experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure or major projects.
• Experience developing and maintaining detailed project schedules and lookahead plans.
• Experience using Primavera P6 planning software.
• Experience working in site-based construction or engineering environments.
• Experience in maintenance planning, outage planning, shutdown planning or project controls activities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning Level 5 construction schedules.
• Preparing and updating four-week lookahead plans aligned with programme milestones and delivery objectives.
• Integrating engineering, materials, access, resource, quality and commissioning requirements into construction schedules.
• Monitoring progress, tracking installed quantities and providing accurate, evidence-based schedule updates.
• Producing productivity, planned versus actual and progress performance reports to support informed decision-making.
