Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a remote Systems Engineer – HVAC/BMS on a permanent basis to support customer building systems, provide remote and on-site technical assistance, and assist with field start-up and commissioning.

Requires an Associate Degree in HVAC, Electrical or Mechanical with 3+ years' experience (Bachelor's preferred) and solid knowledge of Windows PCs, MS Word and MS Excel. May participate in on-call rotation to respond to after-hours issues.

Qualifications

Associate Degree in HVAC, Electrical or Mechanical with 3+ years industry experience.
Bachelor's Degree in HVAC, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs programming of control applications for operator workstations and field panels.
May perform field start-up, commissioning and testing of control applications.
Provides remote technical support to installers and customers and may provide on-site support.
Diagnoses system problems and isolates root causes for corrective action.
Documents problems and resolutions and reports findings to the account team.
Participates in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
