Job summary

Thornhvac Ltd in Maidstone seeks an Air Conditioning Service Manager to establish and lead a new service division for an HVAC manufacturer. You will help set up contracts, conduct surveys, and build asset registers for existing sites.

The role combines office leadership with hands-on technical input, eventually forming a team of A/C engineers, coordinating scheduling, training and field support under the internal management team.

Qualifications

• Air Conditioning service background required.
• F-Gas qualification needed.
• Experience supervising a small team of engineers preferred.
• Good IT skills and ability to motivate and manage a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up service contracts for existing customers through meetings, surveys and asset registers.
• Create technical proposals and quotes for maintenance work.
• Establish procedures, maintenance schedules and reporting tools.
• Set up supply chain for equipment and oversee stock levels.
• Provide technical support and customer liaison; may do hands-on work initially.
• Build and lead a team of A/C and service engineers after setup.
