Job summary

Mane Contract Services seeks an experienced M&E Manager for a National Grid substation project in Melksham, Wiltshire. You will manage and coordinate mechanical and electrical activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with National Grid standards, drawings and programme requirements.

You will work with site management, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors and the wider team to oversee M&E installation, testing, commissioning and coordination in a high-voltage

Qualifications

• Experience as M&E Manager, Site Manager or Supervisor on major infrastructure or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical activities across National Grid substation project.
• Plan, supervise and monitor M&E installation activities to ensure safety and alignment with programme.
• Coordinate M&E works with civil, electrical, commissioning and site activities.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Ensure M&E installations meet approved drawings, National Grid standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Oversee subcontractors and specialist M&E contractors to ensure standards.
• Monitor progress, quality and workmanship across M&E activities.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers and National Grid reps.
• Attend site, coordination and progress meetings as required.
• Identify and resolve technical, programme and coordination issues affecting M&E works.
