Job summary

TSG UK Solutions Ltd in Birmingham, England, is seeking a Network Assurance Engineer to audit HV/LV installations, interpret distribution designs, and drive compliance across client sites. The role demands strong reporting, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement to ensure safe network operation.

You will travel to sites, review drawings, and support commissioning pathways toward AP/SAP roles, with remote working options across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting electrical distribution designs, single-line diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Sound knowledge of current electrical regulations, industry standards, and safe systems of work.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, testing, or technical assessments within electrical environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical audits and assessments of HV/LV installations across client sites.
• Evaluate assets for compliance with regulations and industry best practice.
• Review and validate electrical distribution designs and related documentation.
• Identify non-compliances and safety concerns, providing clear corrective actions.
• Produce comprehensive audit reports and technical findings to a professional standard.
• Support project teams with technical guidance on HV networks and installation practices.
• Engage with clients, designers, contractors, and operations teams to drive improvement.
• Promote adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
• Contribute to auditing process improvements and standard updates.
• Support progression towards AP/SAP commissioning responsibilities.
