Job summary

Last Mile is hiring a Networks Control Engineer (Electricity) for a remote role based in the UK with occasional travel to the Glasgow office. You will oversee LV/HV networks, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and provide accurate reporting on network performance and regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Strong LV/HV experience on electricity distribution networks.
• Evidence of Authorisation as Senior Authorised Person (11kV).
• Solid knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and Distribution Safety Rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead responses to electricity supply interruptions and coordinate stakeholders.
• Manage emergency and planned network activities and document incidents.
• Review high voltage switching schedules and ensure safe operations.
• Investigate voltage/quality issues and oversee reactive works.
• Support commercial processes by handling quotations and invoices, and maintain asset records.
