Job summary

Qualifications

• Positive attitude to learning and development.
• Hands-on electrical or mechanical installation / maintenance background (e.g., pipe fitting, fire alarm installation) or similar.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• IT literate.
• Experience with small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Based in the company's workshop, perform a range of activities such as electrical wiring and building HV panels.
• Involve earthing measurements and surveys.
• Receive full training to develop skills in earthing and HV engineering.
• Obtain further qualifications (to degree level), paid for by the organisation.
• Develop skills in earthing engineering, covering site measurements, surveys and design, with future progression into a Power Systems Engineer role possible.
