Major Energy Onshore is seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to work on Power Transmission and Distribution equipment across customer sites. The role involves repair, maintenance and upgrades on private networks and assets, with a strong emphasis on safe operation and detailed site reporting.

The ideal candidate will be time-served or hold HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering, able to work independently and within a small team, and willing to travel with a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifikationen

• Time-served electrical technician, or holder of HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with HV or LV power equipment (transformers, switchgear, VSDs).
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Aufgaben

• Assemble power transmission and distribution equipment on site installations (LV/HV switch, Ring Main Units).
• Perform fault finding, maintenance and after-care/warranty service on equipment and customer networks.
• Carry out basic site testing and ensure safe operation and adherence to standards.
