Job summary

Lucy Electric seeks an experienced HV Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering installation, maintenance, and product support for HV assets across the UK. The role involves leading projects, interpreting drawings, and completing RAMS and test certificates.

Based in a home-based role with site travel, you will work with skilled HV Engineers and support staff, with core hours and opportunities for overtime as required. A strong safety culture and ongoing professional development are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Certified in electricity at work and able to deliver services on site or from an office.
• Good knowledge of health and safety implications and compliance.
• Computer literate with MS Office skills.
• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering (BTEC, C&G or equivalent).
• Full valid driver’s license and willingness to travel, with overtime/weekend flexibility.
• Valid authorisations – Private Networks, UKPN, SSEN, WPD.

Responsibilities

• Installation, refurbishment and maintenance of HV equipment.
• Interpret electrical drawings and records.
• Carry out electrical testing and fault finding.
• Complete RAMS, job packs, test certificates and reports.
• Sub‑station installation, testing and commissioning.
• Liaise with team to understand priorities and deadlines.
• Attend training and continuous development opportunities.
