Job summary

Lucy Electric seeks an experienced LV/HV Authorised Person to join our engineering division. You will lead LV/HV projects, support installation, maintenance and product support across the UK. The role is home-based with site travel; core hours are 07:30–16:00 Mon–Thu and 07:30–12:00 Fri, with occasional overtime and travel. You will interpret drawings, perform testing, and ensure safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude.
• Highly organised and tidy.
• Problem solving and proactive in safety and efficiency.
• Electrical engineering qualification with appropriate authorisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of major projects through to smaller works, including LV/HV maintenance and upgrades.
• Interpret electrical drawings and records; perform testing and fault finding.
• Plan outages, produce switching programmes and safety documentation.
• Maintain authorisations and ensure compliance with Lucy Electric standards and procedures.
