Job summary

Matchtech in Blantyre, Scotland, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead HV electrical and civil delivery for a utility infrastructure contractor. You will manage design through installation, coordinating with design teams, suppliers and site staff.

The role requires 5–10+ years in HV or civil projects, strong NEC contract experience, budget control, risk management and a proactive safety culture. Office & site-based, 3 days in the office, with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 5–10+ years delivering electrical, utilities, civil or construction projects.
• Proven live project delivery experience from design to installation.
• Strong NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4) knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver electrical and civil projects from design through installation.
• Develop programmes, budgets and resource plans; monitor milestones.
• Lead site engineers, subcontractors and suppliers; chair progress reviews.
• Manage procurement, variations and change control; ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate with designers, clients and supply chain; ensure quality and handover.
