Job summary

Countryside Classroom is seeking an experienced Project Co-ordinator to lead the Humber Catchment Species Recovery Programme, enabling beaver reintroduction and coexistence across the Humber River Basin. The role focuses on coordinating a diverse partnership of organisations to deliver a landscape-scale conservation initiative.

The position requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement and leadership to deliver outputs, reports and governance structures for long-term beaver

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating large multi-stakeholder conservation projects.
• Ability to lead cross-organisational teams and partnerships.
• Strong organisational and reporting skills for complex programmes.
• Understanding of ecological recovery and species reintroductions.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the Humber Catchment Species Recovery Programme.
• Oversee day-to-day project delivery and reporting.
• Coordinate partnership activities across Wildlife Trusts, agencies, landowners and local authorities.
• Engage stakeholders and develop governance frameworks for long-term beaver recovery.
• Supervise staff and provide project leadership to achieve shared outcomes.
