Job summary

Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is seeking a Project Co-ordinator to lead the Humber Beaver Partnership within the Humber Catchment. The role focuses on beaver reintroduction, habitat restoration and cross‑sector collaboration across a landscape-scale conservation programme.

Based at Idle Valley Nature Reserve with travel across the Humber Catchment, the post requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement and ecological understanding to deliver long-term coexistence of wild beavers

Qualifications

Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent management skills with the ability to motivate, inspire and develop a highly effective team.
Experience in managing complex projects, partnerships and stakeholder relationships, including delivering habitat restoration, nature-based solutions and/or species recovery projects.
Demonstrable experience of planning and delivering practical conservation and countryside management activities.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day delivery of the Humber Beaver Partnership project, ensuring partners work effectively to achieve shared goals.
Provide project leadership and coordination across a broad partnership, managing delivery, reporting, stakeholder engagement and frameworks for long-term beaver coexistence.
Collaborate with Wildlife Trusts, environmental organisations, statutory agencies, landowners and local authorities to deliver conservation outcomes at landscape scale.
