Timetable: Part-Time long-term role

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted ‘Good’ Secondary school in Leicester who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher to teach Humanities to Key Stage 3 and 4. This is a part-time and long-term role, with the possibility of going permanent.

We are looking for somebody who has relevant experience working with 11 – 16-year-olds within the last 2 years. Predominantly teaching History with some Geography and RE lessons.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and deliver engaging Humanities lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4
2. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
3. Teach History predominantly, with some Geography and RE lessons

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in History, RS, Geography, or a related field
• Proven experience teaching Humanities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans
