We are seeking a motivated, qualified teacher specializing in Humanities for KS3/4, with the ability to support KS5. The successful candidate will work in small groups and one-to-one with students. As a small hospital school, teachers may be required to teach other subjects; support or teaching experience in additional subjects is desirable but not essential.
Ivetsey Bank Hospital is a Tier 4 CAMHS hospital for young people aged 12-18, supporting those with severe or complex mental health conditions requiring intensive inpatient treatment. Our facilities include an Ofsted-registered on-site school, high-intensity suite, occupational therapy kitchen, gym, outdoor sports area, therapy cabins, and a multi-faith cabin.
Our school, part of the Active Care Group, caters to up to 37 young people aged 12-18 in inpatient CAMHS. We were rated 'good' in our recent Ofsted inspection. Students value school as a normal, supportive environment that aids their recovery.
