Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Team Leader to manage and support our team of HR Administrators and Officers. This role will be pivotal in ensuring high-quality HR service delivery, legal compliance, and the effective coordination of people processes across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of HR Administrators and Officers, providing day-to-day guidance and performance oversight.
  • Oversee workforce planning activities and ensure HR operational tasks are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance and consistency of employee data, aligning with legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the HR Information System (HRIS), and ensure timely and insightful reporting to the HR Business Partner.
  • Resolve employee relations matters at the operational level, escalating complex cases appropriately and handling all issues professionally in line with employment law and company policy.
  • Positively contribute to the development, reputation, and continuous improvement of the HR function.
  • Apply up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation to improve HR processes and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct internal audits across UK services to ensure HR compliance and policy adherence.
  • Produce detailed and accurate reports on HR activities and casework on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards completion).
  • Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle (business insurance required).
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR operational processes.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience within a HR environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
  • Experience using HRIS/HR software systems and a high level of IT literacy.
