POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a HR Manager, who will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies to support Fushi’s growth and its people. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will ensure the HR policies, employee engagement initiatives, and compliance processes align with Fushi’s Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO) and business objectives.
This role will be responsible for maintaining a positive company culture, supporting recruitment efforts, managing HR policies, and ensuring employee wellbeing initiatives align with Fushi’s core values - Authenticity, Ownership, Agile Mindset, and Continuous Improvement.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and is passionate about employee engagement, compliance, and organisational development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support the HR Business Partner in implementing HR policies and procedures aligned with Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) principles and best practices.
• Assist in the development and execution of Fushi’s People Strategy, aligning with the Vision/Traction Organizer (V/TO).
• Rollout and embed Fushi Values across the organisation ensuring employees (including new joiners) are fully aligned and living the values.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
• Assist in the recruitment process, including preparing job descriptions, advertising vacancies, candidate screening, interview coordination and conducting the Values interview.
• Lead the onboarding process to ensure new joiners receive a structured 90-day Onboarding plan and are trained on Fushi Culture and Values.
• Work closely with hiring managers to identify skills gaps and workforce planning needs.
• Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and wellbeing programmes.
• Develop and deliver training & development programmes to support employee growth and career progression.
• Conduct quarterly employee engagement surveys, conduct regular employee check-ins and feedback sessions to improve retention and satisfaction.
• Use HR communications channel to educate employees about HR policies and procedures.
Performance & Development
• Support the annual performance and development cycles, monitoring and tracking performance objectives and personal development plans for all employees.
• Help with the training aspects of this process for new and existing employees.
• Support managers with training on leadership development, coaching, and employee performance best practices including giving constructive feedback.
• Encourage a culture of ownership and continuous improvement, empowering employees to take accountability for their roles.
Employee Relations & Compliance
• Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies and best practices
• Manage employee relations, conflict resolution and performance coaching.
• Ensure compliance with UK employment law, updating policies and procedures accordingly in line with
HR legislation
• Maintain HR records in compliance with data privacy and labour regulations.
• Ensure competitive compensation & benefits are aligned with Industry standards
• Work with Finance to develop and manage HR budget
• Educate employees about Benefits offered at Fushi and manage the annual rewards cycle
• Develop a recognition scheme for employees.
HR Administration & HR Systems
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, contracts, and employee handbooks.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes: for new starters and leavers ensuring a smooth onboarding and offboarding experience, immigration processes as needed, absence management and other HR administrative process.
• Maintain HR systems (e.g. Bright HR) and support automation of HR processes.
• Ensure efficient handling of employee queries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and workplace matters.
• 3+ years of HR experience, ideally in a growing SME or wellness/consumer goods environment.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion when handling HR matters.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Passion for Fushi’s mission, values, and commitment to wellbeing.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with EOS or similar business frameworks.
• Familiarity with Bright HR or other HRIS tools.
• Background in developing HR policies and procedures in a fast-growing organisation.
• Experience in employee training, development, and performance management.

• Manager Satisfaction – Secure a satisfaction score of 8/10 or higher from line managers on HR support and policy implementation.
• Recruitment Efficiency – Achieve time-to-hire under 30 days for 80% of roles, with candidate experience satisfaction above 85%.
• HRIS Data Accuracy – Maintain 98%+ data accuracy in HR systems and ensure timely updates across employee lifecycle events.
• Wellbeing Initiatives – Launch a minimum of 2 new wellbeing programmes per year with >90% staff participation.
