HR Consultant

Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: Immediate

Ella Halliday HR Limited is a growing, down-to-earth HR consultancy that supports clients across a range of sectors, with a second brand, Childcare HR, who support the early years and education sector. We're looking for an experienced HR Consultant to join our small but ambitious team.

This is a varied and hands-on generalist role, ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships with clients and making a real difference in the day-to-day running of their people practices.

About the Role:

• You'll be based three days a week on site with one of our key clients in Aylesbury, who operate in the Travel and Tourism sector, providing trusted HR support across the full employee lifecycle.
• The remaining two days per week are remote, working flexibly to support a portfolio of small and growing businesses.
• From recruitment and employee relations to consultations, restructures, policy reviews and culture change initiatives – no two days will be the same.
• You'll be supported by a friendly, values-led consultancy with a strong reputation for practical, people-first advice.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has strong generalist HR experience, ideally in a standalone or consultancy environment.
• Is CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) or equivalent through experience.
• Is confident, credible and able to build great working relationships at all levels.
• Thrives in a flexible, fast-paced environment and enjoys working with multiple clients.
• Is available to start immediately or with short notice.
