As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you’ll provide expertise, advice, guidance, and solutions to colleagues across the Council. Your focus will be on improving employee retention, management competence, policy application, data-driven decisions, and more. The goal is to create open and honest working partnerships, set clear expectations for managers, and help them discharge their duties fairly and reflectively.
Your responsibilities include workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organizational change. You’ll lead and plan resources to deliver services, manage competing demands, and provide advice that fosters improvement and builds trust in the HR Business Partner service.
To qualify, you should be an expert in generalist HR, a postgraduate member of CIPD (or equivalent), with strong HR knowledge, problem-solving skills, and efficiency. Well-organized, capable of building relationships with managers, analyzing data, and coaching colleagues, you thrive in a fast-paced environment.
