A well-known retail company in the garden and home sector seeks an experienced HR Business Partner for a field-based position covering Southern England. This role focuses on implementing HR best practices and managing all people-related activities while working autonomously from home. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified with a strong background in employee relations and organizational change management, ready to add significant value to the organization.
South Central England (based from home)
£45,000 - £50,000 + Car Allowance, Bonus & Package
A business with a long and rich heritage, this retailer of all things garden and home-related has invested heavily in store refurbishment and expansion and is one of the best-known businesses in its sector. As a result of planned growth and a commitment to strengthening the HR function, they now seek to appoint an experienced HR Business Partner to this business-critical role.
Covering sites across Southern England, this is a field-based position primarily responsible for driving HR best practice across the region. You will partner with the operational team and influence all aspects of people management, including ER, recruitment, induction and development, investigations, and disciplinaries. Reporting to the Head of HR, the role is autonomous with significant responsibility for day-to-day diary management and decision-making. The position is based from home and involves remote working with store visits when appropriate.
A natural communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders, you will be CIPD qualified, ideally with field HR experience in a retail or service-driven business. Candidates should be comfortable in a multi-site role, organized in diary management, and capable of influencing and guiding remotely. As the first point of contact for all HR issues, you should have broad experience across HR topics, with particular emphasis on Employee Relations, Organisational Change Management (OCM), and talent development activities. This is an interesting and stimulating role within a business whose current structure allows the position to add significant value to both the region and the wider organization.
