Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a brand-new HR Advisor role, to work in the London office of a leading global law firm.

The role will be offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis and will be to work as part of the collaborative EMEA HR team; engaging in broad HR and talent management activities, from traditional tasks to high-level strategic initiatives.

Working with a team of Advisors in London, the position will support the Corporate & Disputes practice groups to provide operational support on day-to-day people matters. This exciting opportunity will go beyond traditional HR tasks, enabling the successful candidate to truly engage in high-level strategic initiatives. The successful HR Advisor will manage significant projects, foster a collaborative culture, and offer trusted advice to partners and business services leaders.

Typical duties will include:

  • Assisting with drafting business cases for recruiting efforts.
  • Conducting investigations for ER processes.
  • Managing parental leave processes and long-term absences.
  • Collaborating with HR Managers to successful delivery the performance evaluation process.
  • Managing salary & bonus processes with the support of management.
  • Working closely with the firms’ global mobility team where necessary.
  • Maintaining people data sources and reports.
  • Building strong working relationships with other business services functions.

Suitable applicants will have gained prior HR Advisor experience in a law firm or professional services environment, demonstrate strong communication and attention to detail skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. Ideally, candidates will be CIPD qualified and be used to working in a global setting.
