Elevation Recruitment HR is proud to be working with a well-known brand seeking a HR Advisor to join their Transport Division on a full-time, permanent basis at their site in Wakefield / Rotherham.

The role involves providing generalist HR advice and guidance to managers and supporting projects. Ideal candidates will have experience within a logistics, manufacturing, retail, FMCG, or similarly fast-paced commercial environment. The ability to build successful and effective relationships with managers, and to communicate and influence effectively, is essential.

As an HR Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and support to managers on all HR aspects
  • Managing employee relations caseloads related to sickness absence, investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances
  • Collaborating with senior managers to develop their HR capabilities
  • Keeping managers updated on legislative changes and interpreting these changes for the business
  • Supporting projects on employee engagement and talent management
  • Maintaining good relationships with Union Reps
  • Occasionally attending early morning or night shifts to support 24-hour operations, depending on caseload

To be suitable for this role, you should be CIPD qualified with a strong knowledge of employment legislation, and must be able to travel to a local site.
