Job summary

Elevation HR, part of Elevation Recruitment Group, seeks an HR Advisor for a full-time, permanent on-site position near Wakefield. You will manage a high-volume ER caseload and work closely with an HR lead to develop your career within a major group with multiple sites.

You will provide day-to-day HR guidance, support attendance management, assist with recruitment for production roles, and deliver training to line managers. On-site presence is essential.

Qualifications

• HR generalist with experience handling a broad range of ER queries and cases.
• Experience advising managers on people-related matters and policy.
• Able to support recruitment for production roles and assist with interviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on day-to-day HR queries.
• Manage employee relations cases including grievances and disciplinaries.
• Support attendance management and sick absence coordination with Occupational Health as needed.
• Coach line managers to handle people-related issues effectively.
• Assist recruitment for production roles, including shortlisting and interview coordination.
• Deliver HR training and upskilling sessions for line managers.
• Support the HR Manager with site-based and group HR projects.

Elevation HR are working with a highly successful FMCG business on the M62 corridor east of Wakefield as they look to appoint a HR Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a HR Advisor, you will be hands on managing an ER caseload, whilst reporting to an exceptional HR lead who will be keen to support you in your career. As part of a major group with multiple sites there will be further opportunities for you to develop your career in the future. In this fully onsite role, you will be responsible for:

• Providing advice and guidance on a broad range of day-to-day HR queries.
• Managing employee relations cases, including grievances, disciplinaries and other HR matters.
• Supporting managers with sickness and attendance management, including liaising with Occupational Health where required.
• Coaching and developing line managers to effectively manage people-related matters.
• Supporting recruitment for production roles, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates and arranging interviews.
• Delivering upskilling sessions and practical HR training for line managers.
• Supporting the HR Manager with a range of site-based and wider group HR projects.
