Anne Corder Recruitment is seeking a confident HR Advisor for a busy, site-based team in South Lincs. The role blends employee relations, recruitment, engagement, wellbeing and day-to-day HR support to managers across the site.

You'll build credible relationships, coach managers, interpret HR policies in practical terms and drive people initiatives while balancing business realities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a generalist HR role with employee relations exposure.
• Good knowledge of UK employment law and case management.
• Experience handling employee relations matters end-to-end.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to advise and challenge HR matters appropriately.
• Good HR administration and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach managers on employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence.
• Manage ER cases, ensuring processes are fair, consistent and legally compliant.
• Support initiatives around retention, absence, turnover and employee engagement.
• Help managers interpret and apply HR policies in a practical, common sense way.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Coordinate Occupational Health referrals and contribute to wellbeing initiatives.
• Get involved with apprenticeships, training and development activity.
• Maintain accurate HR records, systems and reporting.
• Support wider compliance, audit and people-related projects across the site.

Are you an HR Advisor who enjoys being where the action is?

Someone who likes building relationships with managers, getting to know the people behind the business and being relied upon for practical, sensible HR advice?

We’re looking for a confident and approachable HR Advisor to join a busy site-based HR team in South Lincs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a genuinely varied generalist role, combining employee relations, recruitment, engagement, wellbeing and day-to-day HR support.

You’ll be working closely with managers across the site, becoming a trusted point of contact and helping them navigate everything from straightforward people queries through to more complex employee relations matters.

No two days are likely to look exactly the same, but you can expect to:

• Advise and coach managers on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases
• Manage ER cases confidently and ensure processes are fair, consistent and legally compliant
• Support initiatives around retention, absence, turnover and employee engagement
• Help managers interpret and apply HR policies in a practical, common sense way
• Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning
• Coordinate Occupational Health referrals and contribute to employee wellbeing initiatives
• Get involved with apprenticeships, training and development activity
• Support employee communication and engagement forumsMaintain accurate HR records, systems and reporting
• Support wider compliance, audit and people-related projects across the site

You’ll already have experience within a generalist HR role and be comfortable dealing with employee relations cases. More importantly, you’ll be someone who can build credibility with people at all levels.

You’ll need to be organised, confident and approachable, with the ability to balance HR best practice with the realities of a busy operational environment.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

• Previous HR Advisor or strong HR generalist experience
• Good practical knowledge of UK employment law
• Experience managing employee relations cases
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• The confidence to advise and appropriately challenge matters
• Good HR systems and administration skills

CIPD qualification, or working towards it, would be advantageous, as would experience within a manufacturing, food, FMCG or similarly fast-paced environment, but neither is essential if you have the right HR experience and approach.

This isn't an HR role where you'll spend your day hidden behind policies and processes.

You'll be joining a large, established organisation where HR has an important role to play in the day-to-day operation of the site. You'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships, develop your ER experience and get involved in a broad range of people activity.
