Job summary

Kingdom Group is recruiting a Colleague Centre Advisor for our Head Office in Newton-le-Willows. You will provide expert Employee Relations and colleague support, ensuring policy compliance and a positive experience throughout the employment lifecycle.

The role handles disciplinary, grievance, absence management and change initiatives, partnering with managers to deliver best practice and compliant HR services in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within a HR, People or Office Management role.
  • Working knowledge of current employment legislation.
  • Experience managing employee relations cases.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
  • A full five-year checkable employment history.
  • Minimum of two employment references.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Satisfactory personal credit check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice and guidance on company policies and procedures to all levels of the business.
  • Manage disciplinary, grievance and third-party removal processes from start to finish.
  • Take ownership of long-term sickness and absence management cases.

  • Respond to general colleague and management queries.
  • Complete ad-hoc administration requests and reporting requirements.
  • Support the Head of Colleague Centre with projects and business initiatives.

Colleague Centre Advisor

Location: Kingdom Headquarters, Newton-le-Willows

Hours: 37.5 Hours Per Week

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm or to meet the demands of the business

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £29,000 Per Year

About The Role

Kingdom is looking to recruit an experienced and professional Colleague Centre Advisor to join our Colleague Centre at our Head Office in Newton-le-Willows.

The Colleague Centre Advisor is responsible for providing expert Employee Relations and colleague support across the business, ensuring company policies and procedures are applied consistently, fairly and in line with current employment legislation. The role manages a broad range of colleague matters from start to finish, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and long-term sickness cases, while supporting organisational change initiatives such as restructures and redundancies.

Working as part of the Colleague Centre, you will partner with managers and stakeholders across the business to provide professional guidance and support on employee relations matters. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, promoting best practice and helping to create a positive colleague experience throughout the employment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Employee Relations

Essential Requirements
