We’re looking for a dynamic People Advisor to join the People Team at Project One, helping us create a great workplace where creativity and collaboration thrive. If you’re ready to bring your expertise and enthusiasm, we want to hear from you!

What we can offer you:

  • The successful applicant will support the People Team for 30 hours per week, arranged over 4 or 5 days based on your preference.
  • Hybrid Working Arrangement: Two days remote, three days in the office.

Responsibilities include:

  • HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives with a business partner approach.
  • Engagement: Act as an ambassador for culture, support engagement surveys, and contribute to culture through various projects.
  • Employee Relations: Provide HR advice on disciplinary, grievance, exit interviews, absence management, RTW, and capability, in line with employment law and policies.
  • Ambassador: Represent Project One internally and externally as appropriate.
  • Policy Development: Review and maintain People policies, ensuring compliance with legislation and uploading to the company portal.
  • Compliance/GDPR: Ensure employment law and GDPR compliance, maintain accurate records, and implement measures to protect employee data.
  • Performance Management: Support managers in developing performance improvement plans and relevant communication.
  • Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives and help employees adapt.
  • Benefits Review: Assess and benchmark employee benefits, gather feedback, and ensure offerings are competitive and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Support: Provide administrative support, act as a point of escalation for complex queries, and support conflict resolution.
  • DEI: Contribute to ongoing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategies.

What we look for:

  • Experience: CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with solid generalist HR experience in a complex organization.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align HR practices with business strategies and help shape overall business strategy.
  • Problem-Solving: Comfortable addressing workforce challenges with business leaders and managers.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively identify and engage key stakeholders through transparent communication.
  • Empathy and Discretion: Maintain confidentiality and understand employee needs.
  • Collaboration: Desire to work as part of a team.
  • Digital Acumen: Knowledge of digital tools to enhance HR practices.
