Job summary

Oakleaf Partnership is seeking a proactive People Advisor to join the high-performing People Team. You will provide practical HR advice, support managers and colleagues, and manage employee relations cases in line with policy and employment law.

You will be a trusted advisor, helping managers build confidence across absence, performance, conduct and engagement while supporting broader people initiatives and business transformation.

Qualifications

• HR advisory or employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience coaching and supporting line managers.
• Excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret HR data and identify practical solutions.
• Collaborative and commercially minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, pragmatic HR and employee relations advice.

• Manage and maintain accurate employee relations records and case documentation.
• Support employee engagement and local people initiatives.
• Monitor HR data, trends and compliance requirements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious People Advisor to join a high-performing operational People Team.

Reporting to the People Partner, you will provide practical HR advice and support to managers and colleagues, managing employee relations cases and ensuring HR processes are applied consistently and in line with policy and employment law.

You will be a trusted advisor, helping managers build confidence and capability across areas including absence, performance, conduct and engagement. You will also support wider people initiatives, employee lifecycle processes and business transformation.
