Job description

We're delighted to be partnering with a prestigious London law firm to recruit an HR Advisor.

This role would suit an ambitious HR Coordinator looking to step into an Advisor position, or an existing HR Advisor seeking greater stakeholder exposure, broader responsibilities and involvement in HR projects.

Alongside day-to-day HR responsibilities, you'll gain exposure to employee relations activity, organisational change projects and firm-wide people initiatives.

Hybrid working: 3 days in office per week

Key duties will include:
  • Partnering with lawyers, partners and senior business leaders to provide practical and responsive HR support across a variety of people matters.
  • Acting as a trusted first point of contact for HR queries, building credibility with stakeholders and ensuring a high-quality service is delivered across the firm.
  • Taking ownership of key employee lifecycle activities, helping to ensure a seamless experience for employees and managers alike.
  • Managing family leave arrangements, flexible working requests and other day-to-day employee relations matters.
  • Supporting more complex ER cases through meeting coordination, documentation preparation, note-taking and liaison with HR leadership.
  • Leading induction activity for new joiners, helping them integrate successfully into the firm from day one.
  • Contributing to annual people processes and supporting managers through key employee milestones.
  • Producing management information and HR reporting to support informed decision-making across the business.
  • Playing an active role in HR projects and change initiatives, including restructures, process reviews and wider people-focused improvements.
About you:

We're keen to speak with candidates who have gained solid HR experience and are looking to further develop their career within a professional services environment.

You’ll be confident communicating with senior stakeholders and capable of establishing credibility with partners, lawyers and business leaders. Whilst legal sector experience would be advantageous, we're equally interested in candidates who can demonstrate strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness and the confidence to advise and support senior individuals.
